From signature beauty looks and bridal artistry to drag, editorial, hair, business, lashes, brows and specialist creative skills, each session is designed to give you direct access to professionals who are active, respected and deeply connected to their craft.

Our short courses and masterclasses are designed for artists, students and beauty professionals who want to keep growing, refining and learning from people doing incredible work in the industry.
Each session is built around a specialised skill, signature style or area of expertise. You might join us for a beauty masterclass, bridal upskill, drag transformation, hair styling session, business workshop, lash and brow class or creative industry session.
These sessions are hosted at Büchner Haus Academy and led by selected industry experts from across Australia. Every class is designed to feel intimate, practical and inspiring, with limited seats so students can ask questions, see technique up close and leave with something they can bring into their own work.

Future short courses may include hair styling for makeup artists, bridal makeup, editorial and campaign makeup, TV and film artistry, business for makeup artists, social media, photography, lash and brow services, trend-based makeup, cosmetic tattooing introductions and specialist beauty workshops.
Our goal is to create a space where artists can keep learning throughout their career, not just at the beginning.

Our short courses and masterclasses are suited to current makeup students, working artists, beauty therapists, lash and brow artists, hair stylists, performers and creatives who want to continue developing their skills.
You do not need to be enrolled in a Büchner Haus Academy course to attend unless a specific class has prerequisites.
Some sessions will be beginner-friendly, while others will be designed for working artists or students with existing experience. Each masterclass listing will clearly outline who the session is best suited to before you book.

Where are the masterclasses held?
Most short courses and masterclasses are held at Büchner Haus Academy in Noosa, Queensland.
How do I book?
Bookings are made directly through the Büchner Haus Academy website. Each masterclass will have its own booking page with dates, inclusions, pricing and seat availability.
Are places limited?
Yes. Places are limited so the learning experience stays intimate, personal and worthwhile.
Are new masterclasses added?
Yes. New masterclasses are added each term, with new industry experts, short courses and specialist workshops announced throughout the year.
Do I need experience?
It depends on the class. Some masterclasses are suitable for beginners, while others are designed for students or working artists. Each class listing will explain who the session is best suited to.
Are these part of the Professional Makeup Artistry Program?
No. Short courses and masterclasses are separate from the Professional Makeup Artistry Program and can be booked individually through the website.
