Büchner Haus Academy was created for students who want makeup to be more than one small part of a broader beauty course. Makeup is the focus here. We teach artistry, skin preparation, technique, client care, creative development and industry readiness with intention.
Whether your goal is bridal, editorial, TV, film, freelance work or beauty services, we want your training to feel connected to the career you are actually working towards.

Small classes mean personal support.
Every cohort is capped at 10 students so we can get to know you, your learning style and the kind of artist you want to become.
Smaller classes mean more personal support, more time with your trainers and more detailed feedback as you build your technique. We can watch how you work, guide your brush work, refine your skin preparation and support your confidence as your artistry develops.

Skin first, always.
Before makeup, there is skin. We teach analysis, preparation and product selection before the first brush touches the face, because skin-focused artistry is what allows makeup to perform under lights, lenses and real industry conditions.
From bridal to photography, film, TV and editorial, great makeup starts with understanding the skin. This is the foundation of work that looks polished, professional and camera-ready.

Your portfolio starts from the beginning.
We do not want students waiting until the end of their course to start thinking like artists. From the beginning, we help you build your portfolio, understand your style, document your work and develop the confidence to show what you can create.
Your portfolio becomes part of your pathway. It helps you see your progress, refine your direction and begin building the visual proof you need to step into the industry.

We teach the business behind the artistry.
Technique matters, but so does knowing how to turn your skill into opportunity. We teach pricing, kits, bookings, client care, professional communication, social media, portfolio presentation and the foundations of building a freelance business.
Whether you want to work in bridal, editorial, TV, film, lashes, brows, beauty services or your own creative business, we want you to understand the practical side of creating a career.

The support continues beyond the classroom.
We are connected to our students beyond the course itself. Our goal is to help you feel supported as you move from learning into doing, with ongoing mentorship, industry insight and a genuine interest in where your career goes next.
With our HQ Academy in Noosa, flexible online learning and hands-on intensives in selected locations, we have created training that feels personal, practical and connected to real life. This is not just about completing a course. It is about becoming an artist with direction, confidence and possibility.
