Meet Freya Armani
Freya Armani is a Brisbane-based drag performer who became a finalist on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 4.
Freya’s artistry is built around much more than makeup alone. Her approach to drag combines makeup, fashion, theatre, dance and music, bringing together technical transformation and performance to create a complete character.
Her background also spans competitive dance and acting across stage and screen, bringing a strong understanding of movement, character and performance to her drag.
Makeup remains a defining part of the Freya Armani transformation.
With more than a decade of experience experimenting with cosmetics, Freya has developed techniques designed to withstand the demands of performance while still delivering a polished, highly finished result. Her own beauty advice covers everything from long-wear skin preparation and beard colour correction to full-coverage complexion, sculpting, blush, highlight and statement lips.

Throughout this hands-on masterclass, Freya will break down the techniques behind creating a complete drag face and show how traditional makeup principles can be pushed, reshaped and exaggerated to create something entirely new.
